I May Be A Big Girl But...

Loud, laughs, fun, crazy stories, food and great memories. These are the things I think about when I think about my family. We are Hispanic, we are loud and we all love my Nanie's cooking lol.

When we moved to Washington almost 4 years ago, I never realized at how much I would miss them. Especially now that everyone has come together and I can't be there. Every year our family from all over tries to get together in Cali around this time of the year. Seeing all the posts of the loud, laughing times and the food my Nanie (Nah-nee) cooks, kind of makes me sad lol. I really miss my mom and our laughs and jokes and how we go and get a latte, sit in the mall and just people watch. Making up stories about people as they walk by and just spending time together. Of course my Nanie, she is basically my twin. We are both round, short, bubbly and have huuuuge loud laughs.

Even though we moved up here to the PNW. I do not regret it one bit. My son and husband are amazing and we are completely happy and we know that God has a complete and total destiny for our lives up here. I just miss my mom, Nanie and family every now and then.

I began to think about how I could incorporate that into my business? How can I give my clients that same deep bond relationship that I have with my family? What can I do to give my clients something  that creates memories and gives them amazing moments in time? I thought Duh AMANDA! Family Portraits! lol.

The entire inspiration sparked from my relationship with my Mom and Nanie. They are amazing women and have poured such greatness into my life from my spirit, to even wisdom in being an awesome wife and mother, sister and friend. To be able to capture this for my clients is my goal and ultimately giving my clients that moment to celebrate their own family's unique bond and relationship. Because let's face it….NOT every family is the same lol.

Seasons in our lives, seasons in family, isn't that the way it goes. You may have your daughters right now, or you may have your sisters and your mom right now; but ultimately, you will grow, she will grow and growing together. You'll eventually get married, have babies and begin to have your own family. Capturing this moment right now of who you all are in this season of your family is such a wonderful moment. Let me help you remember that, I wish I would've been able to capture more memories, more moments with the women in my family. We are all over the states and some are even missionaries in Europe; but at the end of the day we are friends, sisters, mothers, we are family.

So you can see how important it is to capture who you are, who you and your girls are right now in this season of your family. Let me help you with that and I promise not to be "too" loud. ;) Thanks so much for letting me share my heart with you!

xoxo, A
